Bob's Special Winter Camping / Fishing Trip allows you to dogsled and camp in a completely outfitted winter camp setting. Normally winter camping trips are 3 - 4 days but can be longer.
After mushing one of our dog teams into remote BWCAW lakes you will reach some of the best fishing this area has to offer. You will then make the dogs comfortable for the night, set up camp, and cut firewood. Then you'll be set to do some serious fishing. Fishing through the ice for lake trout, northern pike or pan fish is a once in a lifetime experience.
In the twilight Bob will make a dinner you'll not soon forget, whether it is freshly caught lake trout or a rib eye steak with all the trimmings. In the morning you'll wake up to the smell of the wood fire and fresh coffee brewing. There's nothing like Bob's camp breakfast to get you recharged for a full day of fishing, mushing, snowshoeing or skiing.
At the end of the trip you will take down camp, harness up the dogs and start your trek back. We know that on the way back your only thoughts will be of how soon you can return to do it all again.
Camp equipment includes: wall tent, wood stove, cots, sleeping bags, fishing rods, bait & ice auger. Meals are also included.Price: $225.00 per person based on a party of two or more. $300.00 single person
A minimum deposit is required at the time you make your reservation 150.00 per person deposit is required on all overnight trips 50.00 per person deposit is required on all other trips
If cancellation is received 30 days prior to your trip all but 50.00 of your deposit will be refunded (minus any permit fees).
